1. Roll Call by Rich Jansen called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present Heitman, Finney, Radke, Jim Jansen, Stoecklein, Percifield, Simmons, Sedlacek, Heinert, Nolte, Smisek, and Rich Jansen.

2. Proof of Publication. Presented by Heitman

3. Public meeting notice and proof of Public Meeting Laws. Noted by Rich Jansen on office wall.

4. Approval of minutes of August 23rd 2010 meeting. Motion by Simmons to approve the minutes from the last meeting. Second by Stoecklein. Carried

5. Treasures Report and approval of payment of bills. Savings account balance $98043.21. Checking Account $38,527.56. Bills for approval 1. Casey’s General Store $1611.65 (fuel) 2. Farmers Union Coop $1492.12 (tractor tire repair) 3. RR Krajicek Construction $760.23 (lighting repair, a/c, & exhaust fans) 4. Mill Creek Auto Parts $53.67 (fan belts) 5. Jim Percifield $330.00 (4-H Bldg Overhead Door Repairs) Dave Stoecklein found the checks to be in order. Motion by Nolte to approve the treasures report. Second by Percifield. Carried

6. Property Managers Report

a. Diabetes Foundation Amy Kruse requesting to hold the post events at the fairgrounds for Sunday May 22nd 2011. Requesting a free rental for the restrooms and the outdoor grass area. Motion by Percifield to give them a reduced rate for $250.00 deposit of $200.00 to rent the south restrooms and the open field. Second by Jim Jansen. Carried

7. Old Business

a. Review forklift quotes and approve purchase. Motion by Nolte to approve the purchase of a forklift not to exceed $10,000.00. Second by Percifield. Carried

8. New Business

a. Approval of 2011 Fair Contracts

b. Appoint Vision Committee. Dave Stoecklein, Matt Sedlacek, Rich Jansen, Matt Simmons, Jim Jansen, Vicki Radke.

c. Approve hiring a leasing agent for the fairgrounds rental. Appoint Grounds Committee.

9. 4-H Report. No Report
