1. Roll Call: Called to order by Rich Jansen @ 7:04 pm Present Scott Heitman, Dave Finney, Jim Percifield, Rick Knott, Matt Simmons, Chad Heinert, Dave Stoecklein, Jim Jansen, Matt Sedlacek, Rich Jansen excused absence Joe Smisek Chad Nolte


2. Proof of Publication: Presented by Scott Heitman


3. Public meeting notice and proof of Public Meeting Laws: Noted by Jansen posted on wall


4. Approval of minutes of January 24th 2010 meeting: Motion to approve by Percifield Second by Simmons Carried


5. Treasures Report and approval of payment of bills (see below)


6. Property Managers Report: March 5th 4-H, March 11th Fish Fry, March 19th 4-H, March 28-30th Sears Training, April 2nd Chad Krapp Auction, April 8th Ducks Unlimited, April 30th SYAA Spring Dance
Don Peterson rent the open class building for 3 months April May June. Proposed $10.00/day plus $200.00 per sale. Motion by Finney to accept the proposal and second by Stoecklein. CARRIED


7. Old Business: Vision committee chairman Dave Stoecklein presented options for new restrooms and office building to be located in the middle of the fairgrounds. Motion by Jansen to approve option #2 for a complete survey of the fairgrounds to Olsson & Associates for $14000.00. Second by Simmons CARRIED
Motion by Dave Finney to have Dave Stoecklein to get proposals for a master plan. Second by Chad Heinert CARRIED
Discussed improvements to the current office building. The building has frozen up. Motion by Dave Finney to allocate up to $45000.00 to remodel the office building. Second by Matt Sedlacek CARRIED


8. New Business
• Approval of 2011 Fair Contracts: Cowboy Up Band $1000.00 Motion by Simmons to approve the contract Second by Jim Jansen CARRIED
• Donate 2 rodeo tickets 4 beer garden tickets and $25 for the Sarpy Chamber Wild West Event to be auctioned off. Total value of $110.00 Approve 2 spots in the Sarpy County Tourism TV ad. $440.00 Motion by Finney to approve second by Simmons CARRIED


9. 4-H Report: Rick Knott reported that everything is moving forward.

Donations total is $0 to date vs. $16,900 in 2010.
Travelers Insurance has billed us an additional $5,264.00 for workmen’s compensation due to an audit. We have filed additional paperwork requesting this be removed.
Audit Wavier Request has been approved by the State of Nebraska Auditor.

Motion to approve Treasure’s Report and pay bills. Jim Percifield reviewed checks.


Motion by Percifield Second by Knott to approve the treasures report. CARRIED
