1. Roll Call: Called to order by Rich Jansen @ 8:08 p.m. Present are Heitman, Finney, Sedlacek, Knott, Simmons, Percifield, Jim Jansen, Heinert, Rich Jansen, Nolte, and Smisek Excused Absence Dave Stoecklein
2. Proof of Publication: Presented by Heitman
3. Public meeting notice and proof of Public Meeting Laws. Noted by Jansen on the north wall
4. Approval of minutes of June 27th, 2011 meeting. Motion by Finney to approve minutes, Second by Chad Nolte
5. Treasures Report and approval of payment of bills. Motion by Simmons to approve treasures report. Second by Nolte CARRIED
a. Marcotte Insurance Lori Menichettie from Marcotte Insurance reviewed our Insurance Premium. Premium is $11031.55 less workers compensation. Additionally to our premium is $90.00 for soap pig contest and workers compensation. Motion by Finney to approve the premium for $11031.55 plus $90.00 for soaped pig contest. Second by Jim Jansen CARRIED
6. Property Managers Report. No rentals until after the fair.

8. New Business
1. Approval of 2011 Fair Contracts Jim Percifield to rent a fence for the beer garden. Motion by Heitman to rent a fence up to $2.00 per linear foot, second by Nolte. CARRIED Omaha Ambulance Service to provide emergency service for $45.00 per hour. Motion by Nolte to accept the service by Omaha Ambulance Service Second by Simmons CARRIED Deep Roots Design & Lawncare to approve a 5 year contract to mow fairgrounds at the current rate. Motion by Nolte to approve the contract, second by Percifield CARRIED
2. Nebraska Humane Society no report
3. Review of work days prior to fair.
9. 4-H Report Monte Stauffer said the horse show will be this weekend. 4-H club will sell products out of a 10X10. They will not be allowed to sell outside of their area.
10. Communication from the public. The Nebraska State Fair we have to have a float in order to receive tickets. Rich to negotiate parking at a maximum of $1500.00, and provide security for parking in the north lot.
11. Adjourn Motion by Finney to adjourn at 8:59 p.m. Second by Selacek.

Travelers Insurance has billed us an additional $5,264.00 for workmen’s compensation due to an audit. We have filed additional paperwork requesting this be removed.
