1. Roll Call: Rich Jansen called the meeting to order at 8:01 p.m. Present are Scott Heitman, Dave Finney, Joe Smisek, Matt Simmons, Matt Sedlacek, Chad Heinert, Jim Jansen, Rick Knott, Chad Nolte,. Excused Absence Jim Percifield and Dave Stoecklein

2. Proof of Publication. Presented by Scott Heitman

3. Public meeting notice and proof of Public Meeting Laws. Noted by Rich Jansen it is posted on the fair office bulletin board.

4. Approval of minutes of July 25th, 2011 meeting. Motion by Chad Nolte to approve the July minutes. Second made by Matt Simmons. CARRIED

5. Treasures Report and approval of payment of bills. Scott Heitman found the checks to be in order. As of 7/29/ 2011 the checking account balance is $53,419.91 and the savings account balance is $48250.87. The following bills were presented for approval. Casey’s General Store $644.63, Chad’s Auto Repair $488.36, Carlson Tile, Inc. $2659.00, Haffke Plumbing $6250.00, Haffke Plumbing $1827.00 Motion by Smisek to approve the treasures report and approve payment of bills. Second made by Chad Nolte. CARRIED

6. Property Managers Report. Louie Post reported the following 4-H building rentals wedding receptions for 8/27, 9/3, 9/10, and Western Art for 9/23 thru 9/25.

8. New Business

a. Approve changing the September meeting to September 12th. The budget hearing meeting at 7:30 p.m. and the monthly meeting will be at 8:00 p.m. Motion by Finney to approve the change the meeting to Sept 12th. Second made by Chad Nolte CARRIED
b. Approval of 2012 Fair Contracts. Sam’s Amusements for a 3 year contract. Childrens Pedal Pull for $444.00. Motion by Simmons to accept the contracts as presented. Second by Chad Nolte.

9. 4-H Report Monte Stauffer said that 4-H went well.

10. Communication from the public. Thank you from Ron Hunter the rodeo clown. Rick Knott wants to put and emergency plan in place for inclement weather.

11. Adjourn Motion by Chad Nolte to adjourn at 8:29 p.m. Second made by Matt Simmons.
