RENTAL RATES AND POLICY

4-H Building

$400.00 Rental fee $200.00 deposit ($100.00 clean up & 100.00 building damage)

Open Class Building

Commercial Building

$200.00 Rental fee (Restrooms not ADA)

Open Air Auditorium (Private Party Only)

Livestock Barns

Deposit Checks:

• All deposit checks will be held until after the building or area has been inspected.

• Lease must be signed and deposit made before booking of date.

• Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to booking date or deposit shall be forfeited.

Rental Option

• Rentals begin at I 0:00arn the day of rental and are done at 8:00am the next day.

• For a fee of $50.00 per day a lessee is able to access the 4-H Building for set up purposes

if it is cleared with the property manager, no earlier than 14 days prior to rental date.

• The fee for the Open Class and the Commercial Building shall be $25.00 per day and the

advanced days can be secured at the time the lease is signed.

Rental Rate Reduction

• Any reduction of rent, deposit or insurance must be approved by majority vote of the board

of directors.

• Groups or individuals wishing to request a reduction of rates must represent themselves at a

regular monthly meeting.

• The reduction of rental rates will not be less than 50% of regular rental rates.

Security

• Lessee shall be responsible for his or her own security.

• Security is required if alcohol is being served.

• Security officers must be hired through the Sarpy County Sheriff's office.

• Off-duty deputies will be the only accepted security unless prior approval by majority votes

of the board of directors.

• The board will require I officer for the 4-H Building and 2 or more officers for the grounds

and arena rentals depending on the size of the rental and crowd.

• Property manager will provide contact person to hire security.

Arena

• Arena conditions vary throughout the year; lessee shall incur all costs to put arena in

condition that suits their event.

• Lessee shall contract his or her own labor to till arena and provide water.

• Arena shall be left in a condition at least equal to that at which it was found.

Other

• All arena, entire grounds, and reduced rate rentals shall come before the board of directors

for approval.

• The Sarpy County Agricultural Society board of directors reserves the right to deny any

lease that it deems to be harmful to the Sarpy County Fair, the premises or the City of

Springfield, NE.

• All rentals must comply with City of Springfield ordinances. Check with city clerk for

ordinances.

• No rentals two weeks prior to the Sarpy County Fair.
