  1. Proof of Publication: Presented by Heitman

 

  1. Public meeting notice and proof of Public Meeting Laws. : Noted on the wall by R. Jansen

 

  1. Approval of minutes of February 25, 2008 meeting: Prime Time Pickers revised to $700.00 Motion by Timm to accept. Second by Percifield CARRiED

 

 

  1. Treasures Report and approval of payment of bills:  Percifield found checks to be in order. Finney presented a bill for $750.00 for the Sarpy County Chamber dues.  Motion by Wear and Second by Simmons to accept & pay.  CARRIED

 

  1.  Property Managers Report: Louis Post not present

 

  1. Old Business: Discussion of Land Purchase pertaining to the City of Springfield

 

  1. New Business

 

    1. Approval of 2008 Fair Contracts:  Timm presented: 1) Mark Twain $600.00 2) Victory Boxing Club $1000.00 and 1 booth under Grand Stand 3) String Beans $600.00, Jansen 1) Larry Helwig Show (2 cyl. JD Tractor Display) up to $600.00.  Motion by Simmons, Second by Wear to approve contracts.  CARRIED           
    2. Nebraska Humane Society- Emergency Management Proposition: Not Present
    3. Open Class Improvements: Simmons to compensate Judges $10.00/hr plus meals. Percifield             purchase of additional tables and air conditioning.  Tabled
    4. Demo Derby: Simmons presented contract.  Wear & Timm asked for a revision of the contract.  Committee to meet and discuss a revised contract to accept 80ís and older autos.  Tabled

 

 

  1. 4-H Report: Percifield stated the 4-H is to add a shooting sport.

 

  1. Communication from the public: No one present

 

  1. Adjourn: Motion by Timm, Second by Simmons to adjourn at 7:57 PM.  Jansen adjourned meeting.
